We can help with pregnancy & postnatal conditions

Pregnancy is meant to be a joyous and exciting journey. However, for some expectant mothers pain and discomfort can often take the shine away from this beautiful time. We can help you manage your symptoms and provide you with strategies that can help you self manage throughout your pregnancy. We can also provide you with advice on how to safely exercise during your pregnancy to keep you and bub healthy and happy.
The postpartum period is another really exciting time because the baby you have been waiting for has finally arrived. However it is often a physically challenging time due to the demands of your bundle of joy and recovery from the birth. Each birth is different and impacts each mother differently.
The “fourth trimester” is such an important time for a mother and needs to be supported during an emotional and physically demanding period. We can assess your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles to help you return safely and confidently to exercise and the demands of your lifestyle. We use real time ultrasound (RTUS) to assess your pelvic floor muscle coordination, timing and activation strategies.
