Looking for a local Exercise Physiologist in Dapto?

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are allied health professionals who utilise exercise to manage acute and chronic conditions. AEPs are equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries, metabolic diseases such as diabetes and a range of other medical conditions and disabilities.
A frequently asked questions is how do AEPs differ to Physiotherapists? There can be some overlap between our worlds but, like most things, we work better together. Some key differences between the two professions is that AEPs do not provide hands on treatment or diagnose your condition. AEPs alternatively, specialise in long-term exercise prescription and management of chronic conditions.
What specific services do AEPs offer at Adaptive?
- Workers Compensation
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Private 1:1 consultations
- Diabetes classes
- Falls prevention classes
